Two days after he took a dip within the polluted Yamuna at a Chhath Ghat close to ITO, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Saturday sought therapy on the RML Nursing Residence with complaints of itching and irregular respiration.
The BJP mentioned that it was solely after a check-up, checks and medicine administered over the course of the day that Sachdeva was allowed to go away with prescription medicines for his situation.
Sachdeva had, on Thursday, taken a dip within the Yamuna to, in response to the BJP, “remind” former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of his promise of cleansing up the river to the diploma that devotees would be capable to take a dip in it undeterred throughout Chhath Puja.
Terming them theatrics, the AAP mentioned in a press release, “So far as industrial waste is anxious, there is no such thing as a trade in Delhi. Industrial waste is coming from the drains of Panipat and Sonipat. This has been verified, and the NGT has mentioned this many occasions.”
“If he’s severe about this, he ought to discuss to the Haryana authorities and cease industrial waste from Sonipat and Panipat from being dumped in Yamuna.”
