A 15-year-old juvenile was apprehended on Thursday for his alleged involvement in killing a 35-year-old man at Jahangir Puri. Two others concerned within the incident are but to be traced, the police stated.
Abhishek Dhania, DCP (North West Delhi), recognized the deceased as Umesh alias Pota. He was discovered with a number of stab wounds on a highway at G Block in Jahangir Puri, alongside together with his broken scooty, on Thursday.
The police stated that CCTV digital camera footage and eyewitness accounts have revealed that Umesh and his buddies Kewal alias Vishal, Chetan alias Shekhar and Daddu, had a violent altercation with the juvenile and two of his associates, Ritik alias Babu and Suraj alias Chikna.
“In the course of the quarrel, Umesh, who labored at a mandi, was repeatedly stabbed on the chest, stomach, legs, head and face,” an officer stated.
“A case was registered on the idea of the assertion of eyewitness Kewal and inside hours, the minor was apprehended,” stated the DCP.
“Throughout questioning, he admitted that he and his associates had overwhelmed up the sufferer… He stated Ritik had stabbed Umesh whereas they held him,” he added.
