A 24-hour curfew was imposed in Paladhi village in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district early on Wednesday morning, hours after a conflict between two teams belonging to totally different communities led to arson and vandalism within the space.
“Curfew was imposed as a safety measure. The scenario is peaceable and underneath management,” Ayush Prasad, District Collector, informed The Indian Specific.
The clashes started at round 9.30 pm on Tuesday and several other outlets had been set on hearth and automobiles had been broken.
“The conflict between the 2 teams began after a type of street rage incident. A violent mob tried to set outlets on hearth and injury automobiles. The 24-hour curfew was imposed at 3 am Wednesday. “As of now, the scenario is peaceable and nothing untoward has been reported this morning,” Prasad added.
The collector mentioned that on Wednesday afternoon, the administration will maintain a peace committee assembly to resolve any dispute between the 2 teams.
