Two males have been arrested by the Mumbai police for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl in South Mumbai. The police reported that the incident occurred round 8:30 PM on Monday when the 2 accused, using a bike, touched her inappropriately after which fled the scene.
In line with police officers, the case was registered on the DB Marg police station after the sufferer, who was ready to cross the highway, was molested by them.
A staff led by Assistant Police Inspector Vaibhav Gurav began scrutinising the CCTV footage of the spot. “We tracked the accused utilizing the CCTV footage, which revealed that that they had visited a bar after the incident and made a cost through Google Pay,” mentioned an officer.
By inspecting the Google Pay transactions, the police obtained the suspect’s cell numbers. One suspect, recognized as Ganesh Sutar, was traced and arrested.
“Throughout interrogation, Sutar revealed the identification of the second suspect, Bhupendra Jatav, who was subsequently arrested within the Worli space,” the officer added.
