A 35-YEAR-OLD girl, who was the chairperson of a co-operative credit score society in Indapur taluka of Pune district, was brutally murdered on Wednesday night allegedly by a person with whom she had an extramarital affair, the Pune Rural police stated. Police have arrested the 25-year-old accused, who had fled the scene after stabbing her a number of occasions however later surrendered earlier than the police at Indapur police station.
