Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is ready to inaugurate a slew of civic infrastructure initiatives on October 7.
The CM’s transfer to inaugurate these initiatives comes within the wake of Meeting polls, which is prone to happen in November.
Most of those initiatives embody beautification and restoration work of a few of the key heritage and vacationer locations in Mumbai.
In line with Brihanmumbai Municipal Company (BMC) officers, CM Shinde together with deputy chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will conduct the ground-breaking (bhoomi poojan) ceremony of the proposed beautification work in Mumbadevi temple, Meals Park facility at Badhwar Park (Cuffe Parade), proposed promenade at Mahim seaside, Style Avenue beautification plan and set up of ‘pink bathrooms’ in a number of areas within the metropolis.
The mentioned initiatives had been introduced in a number of phases by guardian ministers–Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Deepak Kesarkar–and civic officers mentioned the development work for these initiatives will start instantly after the Bhoomi poojan ceremony.
