Uttar Pradesh Police has detained a Class 11 pupil from Bihar’s Purnia district for allegedly threatening to bomb the Maha Kumbh Mela beginning January 13 in Prayagraj, officers stated on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Kumbh), Rajesh Dwivedi, stated the 17-year-old pupil, who was dropped at Prayagraj on Sunday for questioning, has been despatched to a remand residence.
