The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed a charge-sheet in opposition to an ED officer, its personal DSP, and two others, in reference to a corruption case.
The charge-sheet has been filed in opposition to CBI DSP Balbir Singh, Enforcement Directorate (ED) Assistant Director Vishal Deep, his relations Vikas Deep and Niraj, underneath Part 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and Part 61 (prison conspiracy) of the BNS.
On December 22, 2024, the CBI had registered two FIRs in opposition to Deep primarily based on complaints lodged by Bhupinder Kumar Sharma, chairman of Dev Bhumi Group of Establishments, Una, and Rajneesh Bansal, chairman of Himalayan Group of Skilled Establishments, Sirmaur.
