A Northridge, California, man was indicted on Tuesday after he allegedly tried to test two suitcases into Los Angeles Worldwide Airport (LAX) that contained garments caked in methamphetamines, together with a cow pajama onesie, in response to authorities.
The Division of Justice (DOJ) stated 31-year-old Raj Matharu was charged with a single rely of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Upon his arrival, he checked in two items of bags – a pink suitcase and a grey suitcase.
Screening officers carried out X-ray checks on the suitcases, which allegedly revealed “irregularities,” prompting officers to tug the baggage for a further inspection.

When officers opened the suitcases for additional evaluation, they discovered over a dozen white and light-colored garments that have been coated in a white residue and dried stiff.

As Matharu was about to board his flight to Australia, officers apprehended him, and he was later positioned below arrest.
Whereas Matharu has been indicted, he’s scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 2 within the U.S. District Court docket in downtown Los Angeles. He’s at the moment free on $10,000 bond.
