The Centre on Monday introduced Nationwide Mission on Pure Farming (NMNF) as a standalone Centre-sponsored scheme underneath the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare to advertise pure farming amongst one-crore farmers throughout the nation with a price range outlay of Rs 2,481 crore.
The choice, taken within the Cupboard assembly headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, goals to create an ecosystem for sustainable farming.
