President-elect Trump introduced on Sunday that he has picked Brendan Carr to function Chairman of the Federal Communications Fee (FCC) beginning in January.
Carr, who’s presently the senior Republican member of the FCC, was first nominated to the fee by Trump in 2017. In an announcement launched on Sunday evening, Trump counseled Carr and famous that he had “been confirmed unanimously by the US Senate thrice.”

“Congratulations to Chairman Brendan Carr on a job properly executed,” the president-elect’s assertion concluded. “Lead us into an excellent future, Brendan!”
Carr not too long ago made nationwide headlines after he ripped the “Saturday Night time Stay” solid for platforming Kamala Harris as a visitor with out inviting Trump, which violates FCC guidelines.

Earlier in November, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) urged Trump to nominate Carr as the subsequent FCC chairman, calling him a “nice companion to the women and men in legislation enforcement.”
