
A coalition of Black church buildings is looking on MSNBC to droop and examine Rev. Al Sharpton after his nonprofit accepted $500,000 in donations from Vice President Kamala Harris’ marketing campaign.
“Such a motion places an ethical stain on the integrity of the Black Church,” the Nationwide Black Church Initiative wrote Tuesday, urging MSNBC to research the Harris marketing campaign’s cost.
The coalition says it represents 150,000 church buildings and 27.7 million members throughout the nation and “could be very involved that considered one of our leaders seems to be promoting our voting to Kamala Harris’s marketing campaign.”

The Harris marketing campaign paid Nu Imaginative and prescient Media $350,000 in September, in response to FEC filings first reported by The New York Instances. Nu Imaginative and prescient Media CEO Roland Martin, a Harris supporter, interviewed her on his streaming program in October.
Martin, a former CNN contributor, informed the Instances the cash was for promoting.
