
A Black church coalition is strolling again its name for MSNBC to droop and examine Rev. Al Sharpton after his nonprofit accepted $500,000 in donations from Vice President Kamala Harris’ marketing campaign.
Every week after writing that Sharpton’s actions put a “ethical stain on the integrity of the Black Church,” the Nationwide Black Church Initiative reversed course, calling its earlier assertion “inappropriate” and saying it regrets the “misstep.”
The Washington Free Beacon broke the information that the Harris marketing campaign had made two donations of $250,000 to Sharpton’s nonprofit Nationwide Motion Community. The donations, made on Sept. 5 and Oct. 1, got here forward of a pleasant interview Sharpton carried out with Harris on Oct. 20.

The coalition, which says it represents 150,000 church buildings throughout the nation, stated it could “assist Rev. Sharpton’s suspension” till an investigation was full.
