So that you heard they’ve taken the FEMA emergency meals and shelter program and over time siphoned off tons of of thousands and thousands of {dollars} into mainly making it an unlawful immigrant resettlement program. And so whenever you see these states and cities across the nation declaring emergencies, even blue states, due to what this administration has finished, encouraging increasingly more and extra, creating packages to encourage increasingly more and extra individuals to return right here. The federal government, Biden and Harris, are having to fund that on the backs of the American individuals. As reduction efforts and catastrophe response groups work to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Mayorkas issued a chilling warning about FEMA funding.
“We’re assembly the instant wants with the cash that we have now. We predict one other hurricane hitting. We do not need the funds. FEMA doesn’t have the funds to make it by way of the season,” Mayorkas stated Wednesday.Â
Hurricane Helene made landfall final week as a Class 4 storm. It lurched up by way of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. Â
The demise toll has risen to over 190 throughout the affected states.Â
