The Pune unit of the state anti corruption bureau (ACB) has arrested an actual property agent dealing with a prison case for allegedly bribing a police officer investigating the offence.
ACB has recognized the accused as Hasan Ali Bartakke (45) of Tadiwala Street. Assistant police inspector Nandakumar Kadam has filed the grievance on this case.
A press launch issued by the ACB right now acknowledged that accused Bartakke is an actual property agent, towards whom an offence was registered on the Bundgarden police station, beneath sections 314, 316 (2), 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Assistant police inspector Nandakumar Kadam, connected to the Bundgarden police station, is investigating this case. So Bartakke allegedly tried to bribe Kadam to keep away from correct investigation on this offence.
Kadam filed a grievance towards Bartakke on the ACB, Pune unit. A group of ACB then laid a lure and nabbed Bartakke purple handed whereas he was providing a bribe of Rs 2000 to Kadam on Friday.
A contemporary FIR has been registered towards Bartakke on the Bundgarden police station, beneath sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Police inspector Prasad Lonare is investigating the case additional.
