A 19-year-old pupil from South Dakota has been charged after police say he admitted to posting anti-Semitic remarks on the campus of Hamilton Faculty in upstate New York.
New York State Police say they started investigating on Friday “after receiving a report of anti-Semitic remarks being posted on artwork canvasses” throughout the varsity’s campus within the village of Clinton.
“A number of interviews have been carried out, video surveillance was reviewed, and a suspect was developed,” state police mentioned. “On October 12, 2024, the suspect, Adyn Brenden, age 19, from South Dakota, a pupil on the faculty, was positioned in his dorm room.
“Brenden agreed to talk with State Police and finally admitted to posting the remarks and was taken into custody,” investigators added.
