Bypolls for six meeting constituencies in West Bengal had been introduced by the Election Fee of India on Tuesday afternoon. The elections for Sitai (SC), Madarihat (ST), Naihati, Haroa, Medinipur, and Taldangra might be held on November 13 and the counting of votes for these seats might be on November 23, the CEO of ECI, West Bengal stated.
Amongst these six seats, the TMC bagged 5 within the 2021 Meeting elections whereas the BJP gained just one seat.
