
The Bengaluru Metropolis Police have imposed restrictions round examination centres from Saturday to make sure the sleek and honest conduct of the 2025 Second Pre-College Course (PUC) and Secondary Faculty Leaving Certificates (SSLC) examinations.
As per the order issued by Metropolis Police Commissioner B Dayananda, a radius of 200 metres across the examination venues will probably be declared a prohibited space on examination days, with a ban on the operation of Xerox, cyber, and laptop centres inside the zone.
In line with the directive dated February 28, the restrictions will probably be in place through the Second PUC Examination-1, scheduled from March 1 to March 20 throughout 171 centres, and the SSLC Examination-1, slated to be carried out from March 21 to April 4 at 325 centres throughout Bengaluru.
The police have emphasised that strict motion will probably be taken towards these discovered violating the prohibitory orders. The choice follows a request from the Karnataka Board of Faculty Examination and Valuation to make sure an atmosphere freed from disruptions or potential malpractice through the examinations.
