The ECI on Tuesday knowledgeable the Delhi HC it’ll resolve inside three months Congress MP Randeep Surjewala’s illustration in search of the ultimate electoral rolls for Meeting and Parliamentary elections held in Haryana and Maharashtra between 2009 and 2024. In his plea, Surjewala stated he had submitted a illustration to the ECI (served on Dec 29) for “in-depth evaluation of the electoral roll information” following the ballot panel’s response to an earlier illustration by the Congress on the addition and deletion of voters in Maharashtra. The EC had stated round 48 lakhs voters had been added within the remaining electoral roll of Maharashtra between Might and October final 12 months.
