A 25-year-old businessman was arrested in South Mumbai for allegedly stealing diamonds value Rs 3.05 crore from his father, police stated Tuesday.
Based on police, the accused, recognized as Nirmam Jogani, allegedly escaped with a bag of diamonds after having an argument together with his father. Nirmam labored together with his father, Vipul, who runs a diamond enterprise in South Mumbai.
A case in reference to the incident was registered at The DB Marg police station.
“There was a dispute inside the household, and following an argument together with his father round 4 days in the past, Nirmam escaped with a bag crammed with diamonds,” Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Gaikwad of the DB Marg police station stated.
Intially, the daddy didn’t file a criticism however as Nirmam didn’t return, he filed a criticism on February 23.
“We registered a case and arrested the accused from his relative’s home in Wadala. He was produced earlier than a courtroom which remanded in police custody. Our group is within the means of recovering the stolen valuables,” Gaikwad added.
