The restoration work of the historic Jahaz Haveli of Diwan Todar Mal in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib shall be carried out in its unique type by the Diwan Todar Mal Virasti Basis. Diwan Todal Mal was a Seventeenth-century service provider who bought the land for the cremation of the youthful Sahibzadas of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, particularly Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fatehgarh Singh, together with Mata Gujri after their martyrdom.
Punjab minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond inaugurated the restoration work Sunday. Sond mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had directed that no matter work was to be achieved by the Punjab authorities for this trigger needs to be achieved on a precedence foundation, and the inspiration mustn’t face any form of drawback.
The minister mentioned that till this work is accomplished, the state is all the time prepared to assist at any time when the inspiration wants something. “After the completion of this work, this basis will even be contacted for the conservation of different heritage buildings in Punjab,” the minister added.
The minister additional said that this venture was very expensive, however members of the inspiration dwelling overseas have taken on this accountability and made a commendable effort. He thanked the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and all stakeholders concerned on this work for his or her cooperation.
