
Tech billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk introduced that every one federal workers are being instructed to report their productiveness in a brand new Trump administration initiative.
In a put up Saturday on X, Musk mentioned the report will come within the type of an electronic mail that may give federal staff an opportunity to report how productive they have been the earlier week.
If the e-mail is ignored, Musk mentioned, the federal authorities will interpret that as a resignation.
“In line with President @realDonaldTrump’s directions, all federal workers will shortly obtain an electronic mail requesting to know what they received accomplished final week,” Musk wrote. “Failure to reply shall be taken as a resignation.”

The put up got here as Musk’s Division of Authorities Effectivity (DOGE) continues slashing suspected waste throughout the federal authorities. In an X put up Tuesday, DOGE mentioned it found 4 million lively bank cards on the U.S. authorities’s books.

President Donald Trump has been supportive of Musk’s work with DOGE. On Saturday, Trump wrote on Reality Social that although Musk is “doing a terrific job,” he needs to be “extra aggressive.”
“ELON IS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET MORE AGGRESSIVE. REMEMBER, WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE, BUT ULTIMATELY, TO MAKE GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. MAGA!,” Trump wrote.
Musk responded with an enthusiastic “Will do, Mr. President!” hours after Trump posted.Â
