The scammers threatened to arrest her and requested her to make funds of Rs 1.8 crore, which they promised to return as soon as the “investigation” was full.
As per the First Info Report (FIR), the lady acquired a name round 3 pm on January 14 from an individual claiming to be from the Earnings Tax division. The caller stated she had not paid tax and this was the ultimate warning name.
