California households rejoice Trump administration’s probe into state’s refusal to comply with trans athlete order

President Donald Trump’s Division of Schooling plans to analyze California’s public college athletic affiliation, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), for not complying along with his govt order to ban transgender athletes from ladies sports activities.

The California Household Council (CFC) praised the choice. 

“The California Household Council celebrates the U.S. Division of Schooling’s choice to launch a Title IX investigation into the CIF for its position in permitting males to compete in ladies sports activities,” the assertion mentioned.

CFC Outreach Director Sophia Lorey mentioned the Trump administration’s intervention has made her cry “tears of pleasure.”

Chino Unified Faculty Board President Sonja Shaw instructed Fox Information Digital she is asking for penalties for all of the establishments which have allowed transgender athletes to take part in ladies sports activities. 

“As a mom of two CIF athletes, college board president and advocate for youngsters, I’ve seen firsthand the devastating affect of those insurance policies. Women are being pushed apart, their security is compromised and their alternatives are being stolen,” Shaw mentioned.

Amber French, a ladies’s swimmer at California Baptist College, argued the CIF permitting transgender athletes to compete with ladies will deprive organic feminine athletes of faculty alternatives and jeopardizes their security.
