A 32-year-old rapper and hip-hop artist from Odisha, Abhinav Singh, who was popularly often called ‘Juggernaut’, allegedly died by suicide at his Bengaluru residence earlier this week, the police stated.
Singh’s physique was found on Monday, the Bengaluru police stated, including that his household had lodged a case in Odisha alleging harassment by his spouse.
Singh, whose track ‘Cuttack Anthem’ was successful, labored within the automation testing wing of Energy Faculty India Non-public Restricted, a software program firm at Embassy Tech Village. He stayed in a fourth-floor flat at Sree Utopia flats in Kadubeesanahalli, a police assertion stated.
“On February 9, round 9 pm, he had dinner along with his buddy and returned to his flat,” Shivakumar Gunare, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield, stated, confirming that Singh had died by suicide.
The Marathahalli police have registered an unnatural loss of life report and have handed over his physique to his household after the autopsy.
In response to the Bengaluru police, Singh’s father has registered a case at Lalbagh police station in Odisha the place he has alleged that Singh’s spouse and household had been harassing him. The police are investigating the matter.
