Upon his arrival to Washington DC on Wednesday night for a bilateral assembly with US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted with a grand welcome by the Indian diaspora who braved the chilly winds and rain to catch a glimpse of the Indian chief within the American capital.
PM Modi was greeted outdoors the Blair Home the place he will likely be staying for his two day journey to the US. Blair Home is the official visitor lodging of the US which hosts heads of state and world leaders and is reserved for the dignitaries visiting the President of the US.
PM Modi is sure to fulfill President Donald Trump for a bilateral assembly on Thursday at 4pm (ET) in each restricted and delegation-level codecs.
Earlier, PM Modi Modi met newly confirmed Director of Nationwide Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard upon arrival in Washington DC.

In a publish on X, PM Modi expressed his gratitude in the direction of the Indian diaspora and wrote “A heat reception within the winter chill! Regardless of the chilly climate, the Indian diaspora in Washington DC has welcomed me with a really particular welcome. My gratitude to them.”
PM Modi is among the many only a few world leaders to have been invited to the White Home, solely weeks after President Trump took the workplace for the second time. Trump has hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Jordan’s King Abdullah II until now.
