The Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) has constituted an eight-member committee of specialists to develop a framework for accountable and moral enablement of synthetic intelligence (FREE-AI) within the monetary sector.
The committee, to be headed by Pushpak Bhattacharyya, professor (Division of Laptop Science and Engineering), IIT Bombay, will advocate a strong, complete, and adaptable AI framework for the monetary sector.
The committee will assess the present stage of adoption of AI in monetary providers, globally and in India, and overview regulatory and supervisory approaches on AI with give attention to the monetary sector globally.
