ISTANBUL — An explosion at an armament manufacturing unit in northwest Turkey left not less than 12 useless and 4 injured Tuesday morning.
The blast occurred within the capsule manufacturing facility of the manufacturing unit situated within the province of Balikesir, in response to the state-run Anadolu Company.
Balikesir Governor Ismail Ustaoglu stated the explosion collapsed the capsule manufacturing constructing and that the encompassing buildings sustained minor injury.
Authorities have opened an investigation.
