The Jharkhand authorities initiated the method for authorized motion to understand “Rs 1.36 lakh crore coal dues” from the Centre.
The federal government issued a notification on Tuesday authorising Secretary, Income, Registration and Land Reforms to start the authorized process to understand the dues.

“Secretary, Income, Registration and Land Reforms is nominated as nodal officer to provoke rapid authorized motion to understand Rs 1.36 lakh crore dues from the Centre.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, too, had stated after being sworn in final month that authorized motion could be initiated to understand the dues.
Earlier, he had requested the Centre “with folded palms” to clear the multi-crore coal dues to the state.
