The problem gained consideration when affected college students approached Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) which then reported the matter to Mumbai College’s Vice Chancellor Dr Ravindra Kulkarni. In a press release, ABVP Mumbai head Sankalpa Faldesai stated, “The grievance by college students is dated December 5. This reveals that the difficulty has endured for 10-15 days.
