When Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar advised the Home that he was rejecting all of the notices calling for discussions on allegations towards the Adani Group, and the violence in Manipur and Sambal, he identified that his “pricey good friend” Jairam Ramesh had raised a “good query” by asking how the Chair could possibly be persuaded. Dhankhar stated the Chair will be persuaded solely by “exhibiting the best requirements of conforming to the foundations”. When Congress MP Pramod Tiwari stated that with out Dhankhar’s consent not a leaf can transfer within the Home, the Chairman advised him: “Why don’t you say this to Jairam-ji too…that these items (taking over the problems talked about in notices) occur with the Chairman’s consent.
