President-elect Trump tapped Brooke Rollins as his agriculture secretary.
In a press release on Saturday, Trump lauded Rollins’ “dedication to help the American Farmer, protection of American Meals Self-Sufficiency, and the restoration of Agriculture-dependent American Small Cities.”
“A proud Graduate of Texas A&M College, Brooke earned a Bachelor’s of Science Diploma in Agriculture Improvement, and J.D., with Honors,” the announcement mentioned. “From her upbringing within the small and Agriculture-centered city of Glen Rose, Texas, to her years of management involvement with Future Farmers of America and 4H, to her generational Household Farming background, to guiding her 4 youngsters of their present cattle careers, Brooke has a practitioner’s expertise, together with deep Coverage credentials in each Nonprofit and Authorities management on the State and Nationwide ranges.”
Rollins served as director of the Workplace of American Innovation and appearing director of the Home Coverage Council in the course of the first Trump administration.Â
Since her time within the Trump White Home, Rollins has co-founded the America First Coverage Institute assume tank.
