Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed that Bangladeshi infiltrators have been posing a risk to Jharkhand’s tradition and society.
He accused the JMM-led alliance authorities in Jharkhand of “patronising” infiltration.
“Bangladeshi infiltrators are getting into Jharkhand, marrying tribal ladies and grabbing their lands. They know the artwork of land and love jihad. They’re posing a risk to our society and tradition,” Sarma, the BJP’s election co-in cost for the Jharkhand meeting polls, stated whereas addressing a rally in Godda on Sunday.
He claimed that there have been 23 lakh Hindus and two lakh Muslims in Santhal Pargana in 1951.
“In the present day, the inhabitants of Hindus have declined to 67 per cent from 90 per cent in 1951 within the area, whereas the Muslim inhabitants elevated to 31 per cent throughout the interval… the JMM-led alliance authorities is patronising infiltration for vote financial institution,” Sarma alleged.
