The Dilli Nyay Yatra of the Congress on Saturday handed by way of Seemapuri, a day after three-time Congress MLA from Seemapuri and Dalit chief Veer Singh Dhingan joined the AAP.
The second day of the Yatra’s second leg, noticed Delhi Congress Chief Devender Yadav being accompanied by Rajendra Pal Gautam, former social welfare minister and Seemapuri MLA, who had shifted to Congress from AAP in September.
Throughout the Yatra, Yadav met a lady who runs ‘Aap ki Rasoi’, a group kitchen, with whom he cooked meals to serve her clients.
The Delhi Congress mentioned in an announcement, “She instructed him (Yadav) that it was very troublesome for her to run her dwelling kitchen, as costs of all objects have soared whereas her revenue has fallen sharply… He assured her that when Congress involves energy, it is going to make the lives of individuals like her happier with good governance, heralding a brand new daybreak within the lives of the struggling public.”
Yadav instructed mediapersons, “The Yatra has given us an excellent platform to folks to debate issues. I’m shocked to see the situation of many struggling to earn their livelihood with sheer onerous work.”
“Trying on the love that we’ve been receiving from the general public, I’m hundred per cent positive that that is going to be a historic Yatra. The residents of Delhi are prepared for a political change,” he added.
