President-elect Trump introduced on Thursday his intent to appoint former Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., to function secretary of veterans affairs.
“Doug is a Veteran himself, who at present serves our Nation as a Chaplain in america Air Power Reserve Command, and fought for our Nation within the Iraq Struggle,” Trump wrote on Reality Social. “We should care for our courageous women and men in uniform, and Doug will likely be a terrific advocate for our Energetic Obligation Servicemembers, Veterans, and Navy Households to make sure they’ve the assist they want.
