Expressing his robust objection, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday condemened the “derogatory” phrases allegedly utilized by farmer chief Sadabhau Khot at a rally at Jat in Sangli district the place Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was current on the stage.
Khot was addressing an election rally for BJP candidate Gopichand Padalkar in Jat when he allegedly made the assertion. “Pawar saheb says he desires to alter the face Maharashtra. What face? You wish to make the face of Maharashtra like yours?” he allegedly stated.
“We strongly condemn the language utilized by Khot throughout his speech in opposition to veteran chief Sharad Pawar. His remarks are inappropriate and mistaken. The usage of such language in opposition to a senior chief just isn’t acceptable to me. This isn’t Maharashtra’s tradition. On behalf of NCP and individually, I strongly condemn the remarks of Khot. In future, we won’t tolerate use of such form of language in opposition to Sharad Pawar,” Ajit Pawar stated in an announcement launched late night.
