A mail was despatched to the dean of the Dr D Y Patil Medical Faculty, Hospital and Analysis Centre in Pimpri Chinchwad, saying an Improvised Explosive Gadget (IED) had been positioned on the campus, prompting groups from the Pimpri Chinchwad police and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) to answer the risk on Wednesday morning.
In accordance with the police, no suspicious system was discovered within the preliminary search of the campus.
An officer from the Pimpri Chinchwad police mentioned a mail was despatched to the official mail handle of the dean of D Y Patil Medical Faculty and Hospital at round 11.30 am.
