Coleman’s web site says he was a “flight teacher with over 10,000 hours whole flight time” and “flew 140 flights so as to put together the actors to fly in Navy F-18 Hornets” within the film “High Gun: Maverick.” 

“Chuck was our aerobatics flight teacher and instrumental in our preparation for High Gun: Maverick. He was an aerospace engineer, air present and check pilot, and our good friend and ally,” Miles Teller, one of many stars of the movie who performed the function of Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, wrote on X.
