A 40-year-old man, who acquired a risk to his life, lodged a grievance with the Pune metropolis police alleging that the Fb account from the place the message was despatched was being operated by a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
An FIR was lodged on the Swargate police station on Sunday. In response to the FIR, the complainant is a resident of Salisbury Park in Pune and a social activist.
On October 18, he acquired a message from a Fb account with a faux identify, the place the consumer threatened to kill him. Within the grievance, he said that the unidentified particular person working the Fb account may be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Police have booked the accused below Sections 351(3), 351(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and related sections of the Data Expertise (IT) Act. Senior police inspector Yuvraj Nandre is investigating the case.
