Days after Shrikant Pangarkar, accused within the 2017 homicide of journalist Gauri Lankesh, was inducted into the Shiv Sena and made the in-charge of the occasion’s ballot marketing campaign in Jalna, Maharashtra Chief Minister Ekanth Shinde Sunday cancelled his appointment.
“All orders issued on the (district degree) by the occasion in Jalna stands null and void,” the order issued by Shinde Sena states.
Pangarkar joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Friday within the presence of occasion chief and former state minister Arjun Khotkar, who introduced that he was given the cost of the occasion’s ballot marketing campaign in Jalna Meeting constituency.
