
Two safety personnel from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) had been killed in a serious Improvised Explosive Machine (IED) blast whereas they had been getting back from a joint operation in Abujhmad in South Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district Saturday.
The jawans had been from totally different police camps from Orchha, Mohandi and Irakbhatti when the blast occurred close to Kodiliyar village. They had been headed in direction of Dhurbeda for an operation after studying of the presence of some Naxals within the space.
The deceased jawans are recognized as Amar Panwar (36) from Satara, Maharashtra and Ok. Rajesh from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Each had been from the 53rd Battalion of ITBP.
Two extra policemen suffered accidents within the blast and are mentioned to be out of hazard. Safety forces have been conducting anti-Naxal operations as a part of the ‘Maad Bachao Abhiyan’ in Abujhmad, additionally known as ‘Maad’.
