5 pilgrims who had been on their strategy to Male Madeshwara temple on this district had been killed when the automotive they had been travelling in collided head on with a truck on Saturday, police stated.
Based on police, the accident occurred at Chikkindumadi beneath Kollegal Taluk within the district.
The deceased had been on their strategy to the temple situated atop a hill as grand celebrations had been underway there on account of Maha Shivaratri.
Our bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
