The Deonar police have arrested a 28-year-old man on Sunday early morning for allegedly killing a 13-year-old boy because the minor confronted the accused over molesting his sister.
The police have arrested Sayyab Al Baddruddin Sawant, a loader by occupation, who resides in Dr Zakir Hussain Nagar, Govandi.
Based on the police, the 13-year-old boy, who resides within the space along with his household, on Saturday night time confronted Sawant over the accused allegedly molesting the minor’s sister.
A heated argument between the 2 became a violent scuffle when Sawant allegedly banged the minor boy’s head towards the bottom and later kicked him in his face a number of instances, the boy’s uncle acknowledged within the FIR.
The severely injured minor was rushed to the Rajawadi hospital the place docs declared him useless.
The matter was reported to the Deonar police who registered a case of homicide on the boy’s uncle’s grievance and launched a hunt for the accused within the space. Quickly, the police arrested the accused from the world.
Sawant was arrested beneath part 103(1)(homicide) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), stated sub-inspector P Patil of the Deonar police station.
